Jesse, I did not bother to go to the presentation as there wasn't any fresh information for me. The tiny yellow diamonds found are from K14. That is the reason I think Ashton has extreme upward potential at these prices. The yellows are tiny and I expect with the 500t sampling we will find some biggies. As for Marum, they did stake property before Ashton. I don't know if they had strong expertise with Marum in those days. My biggest fear with this play is that AEC/ACA/PUG had flown the Alberta area in 1996 and had the opportunity to stake the highest potential of recovering diamondifirous mines. The same process that Charles from Diamet did in the late 80's. Did Ashton find the best properties in Alberta similiar to what Diamet did in NWT? Time will tell. This statement is not intented to discount that other juniors have better properties but at the rate they are progressing is not too impressive in my eyes. ie. Montello... IMO, as I said before, my view may change once we get diamondifirous pipes from other juniors NOT just kimberlites. Think back to Dec, everyone was expecting Montello to interesect pipes at the begining of Jan. I for one did not beleive that but would not have dared to say that on the Montello thread for the bashing I would have received. Problems Montello has had were pridictable due to their technique they were using and lack of experience. I still own a small long-term position of Montello and hope they will start moving on the right direction.
Remember that if a company drills 10 anomolies and finds only two pipes, and one is diamondifirous is not to fascinating. The odds of finding one economic pipe in a radius of 10 failed anomolies is close to nil. IMO, I think Montello has not drilled their best targets yet and probably won't for a while.

Please ignore my spelling errors. I am not a writer. <g>
