Dennis, I'm not sure the demand will be astronomical. I am quite pleased with the performance of the NiMh batteries on our cell phones, we have over 1800 in service now. I don't think the weight will be a big selling point with a 2 to 1 price ratio. IMHO if they don't get these things out the door soon they won't have much of a cellular market. The other manufacturers are not just standing by doing nothing and NiMh is becoming more affordable every day. Maybe the laptop batteries will be more in demand. I saw an add for a DEC laptop yesterday and it was the thinnest computer I have ever seen. Very slick.
