Rick: Ignorance is not in the eye of the beholder, but is to be measured by how much which of reality can be denied or ignored by an individual. Spiritualism is mysticism. It is the irrational belief that a supernatural supercedes or dominates the natural. It is the belief that reality (the material universe) is debased and only "higher" thoughts or "higher realities" are worthy of those that disdain the "crudities" of material existence. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that any of these "other realities" exist. What there is evidence of (in abundance) is that the believers and followers of this claptrap become parasites, feeding off of the men and women who truly create and move the rest of the human race forward.
