Chas

Thanks for posting the Mont report. You are right. The numbers don't look bad if you include the one time gain. AND we know how kippy boy likes to put a positive spin on straw he can grab as he drowns.

I guess we can expect MU to go up!!!!

Chas,

You worry too much.<g>

I think the negative earnings are in the stock already. The anal-ists have their expectations(with and without the one time gain)... which you will find out next week.

Although they are not the brightest bunch, they at least know how to view that.

...besides i expect MU will go up unless there is some unforeseen earnings surprise...such as high inventory, one time charges, bad news on conference call.

Good Luck Trading

chas, i'm going to show you how amateurish montgomery is.

depreciation and amortization was $136 mil last q. full monty say $146 mil this q. mu clearly said that d&a would be up an avg of $30 mil a q for the next 3 qs. let's see, $90 mil divided by 3 is... ta da... $13 million! glad txn calcs don't do math like these dolts.

unless mu slashed their cap spending to the absolute bone - in which case do not expect expenses to go down very rapidly. the d&a number will be fun to watch. i think these dolts could be off by $10 mil.
