Few day ago I was browsing the Internet, and found ONSALE (ONSL). Just for the fun of it, I checked if it was a publicly traded co. After looking at trading price, I did some DD, ( still just for fun.) I must say, Who the heck is buying this stock? This company has an EPS -0.16 with a P/E ratio of 560. What gives? There are more and more company being coming on the Internet doing exactly the same type of auction deal. Last time I checked, I believe it was called competition. I know some of you will say Buddy, this is a growth stock, it will take some time to get there. You maybe right, but why pay $30-$35.00 per share now. You are paying for a stock that should be making an EPS of $2.00 per share. Can some one tell me when this will happen? Two to three years from now? Hmmm... if this happens, I will think about buying some at this price in the year 2001. I guess some people, like to throw money away.
