S.W., welcome to the thread. I sometimes daytrade from the short side when I have time. Today was one of those times (there was a very boring but necessary meeting going on in my office) and I shorted DELL at 66 5/8 covering at 64 for a nice gain on a rather large position.

Roger, I'm glad to see others are shorting for the day as well.

I didn't want to impose myself to this thread talking about
shorting stocks just for the day, or a couple of days, if the main
jist of the thread is to look for LONG TERM shorts.

I'm always looking for no brainer shorts like GERN and ESTI, among others. Particularly looking for stocks that run up on news or hype.

I shorted VCELA at the end of the day, and planning to short
RAYS after its run-up tomorrow.

Anyone else have some candidates for shorting intraday?

S.W.
