Greetings Tom The latest $ figure I can find on YRI's cash position is US$11m......Greg Taylor post #696, dated Sept. 25/97. At a burn rate of $400k/month (?), cash on hand would be appoximately US$9m. I don't believe there has been a new financing since Sept. Let's settle for a factor of 2 :o). Good to hear from ya, Rick

Thomas, I usually limit myself to lurking but the release deserves a comment. I appreciate all of the information you provide; particularly on the Gold Price Monitor thread. I receive the releases from Stockwatch and the release just posted is their creation. Kaiser doesn't mention (at least I can't find any mention of) Yamana's cash position in his February 27 Report. Note that they refer to Dec. as the date when Yamana had 20 mil and it is clear that they picked this up from Kaisers Dec. 1 Report. I complained to Stockwatch yesterday about similar problem in a "summary" of the comments of another newsletter writer. Long time follower's of this thread know that Kaiser was assuming a financing Yamana did not complete. It is unfortunate that Stockwatch has chosen to write such releases. While I'm posting, I would like to thank Greg for making this thread the most informative company thread of any that I follow. You do a great job. Regards, Larry
