As DSC languishes here at 18 and LU hits new highs, I recall two conference calls that help explain the Street's lack of faith in DSC management. 1) After LU was spun off from AT&T, an analyst at a conf call asked Donald if he thought LU as in independent entity would be a more potent challenger to DSC, compared to when it was part of AT&T. Donald confidently said no. 2) After the Baby Bells started to merge, he was asked during another conf call if he thought that would hurt business. He also said no. What vision. Yeadon
