Cruiser/Lerxst- Just wanted to give you guys a final decision on the help you tried to give me last year in getting Bay products into my local school district(18 schools; WAN/LAN). Unfortunately, at tonight's school board meeting they voted to use cisco products via GE Capital IGS. I believe the main selling point was not cisco products, but the customer service/handholding GE would provide the networking neophytes in the tech group in the school district. I don't know specifically how Anixter fared in the rankings, but there were over 40 vendors bidding for the business. Most were cisco, some were Bay and a few were coms(one was Cabletron!!??!). I guess the unsophisticates still follow the low risk adage of "you can't get fired for buying cisco".

Thanks anyway for trying to provide help and support.

Paul
