I had some HCIA at one point. I had bought an acquisition of theirs and a couple days later some HCIA shares showed up in my account. I didn't even have a clue they were being acquired! Some of the things I was doing in those days seem incredibly stupid now, though it seemed right at the time. Didn't know HCIA from Shinola so I took the $$$ and ran. Looking at the chart I'm glad I did, though it looks like AIM probably could have done something positive with it. All this, of course, before I could even spell AIM. Amazing what a different perspective it gives a person.

Ah yes, MASCO. They were on a couple IBD/Daily Graphs lists at one point. Must have been late '96 from the look of their chart. Do you still have it? Guess you'd have had to ride it down to ~20ish if you still do. That could have been pretty discouraging to wait that long for your $$$ from the buyout!! What sort of business did they buy from you?

Bruce

Hi Steve,

Actually, a 1/3 dip in MAS ($45 to $30) and then a double (to $60) is pretty nice movement for just a 4 year period. Do you AIM this account, too?
