I guess they have about 2 billion or so left over (before they get their hands on the dec loot). Lets see at current market value that would be about 80 million shares til they go broke. I don't think it's a smart move on their part. I could be wrong but i can't think of any other company who did major repurchases that trades 20 to 25 million shares a day. Sure if you trade a million or so you might be able to prop a stock up but at CPQ's level I don't think it would do much good.
