Hello, I haven't participated on this thread in a long time, so I
don't know what attacks on management you are referring to, but
from the experience of all of the old timers here, I can tell you that
you might as well wish to win the lottery as wishing for any solid
info from APM management. They are the most investor unfriendly
bunch I have ever run into. They and their leader could have saved me
and a lot of others a whole lot of money if they had given us some
solid info instead of a bunch of B.S. Don't ever count on any real
guidance from them at all. I have to stop now before I bite my
tongue off trying to hold the curse words back.

Good Luck,
Sean

My concern is in the company's third quarter. TFI head shipments to Western Digital should be ending this quarter. Western Digital has qualified Read Rite heads, but their activity with APM is unknown (at least to me). Other qualifications (APM heads to other potential programs) are underway according to 10Q filings over the last year, but progress is unknown (to me, also).

It seems like 2nd quarter results to be announed in April are anticipated - the ramp down of the Western Digital TFI business.

What happens in July when 3rd quarter results are announced?

Anyone have any insight.

Todd and Jon, are you still here? Nice to hear from you AT (pardon my familiarity).

Regards,

Dave Chanoux

Donald, I had a similar thought regarding the timing of the dismal HD market and APM's current problems. I agree, they couldn't have timed it better (IMO dumb luck). If they were going to have a problem going to MR, it might as well be when the drive market is flooded and it looks like the end of the world is near. I'm not buying right now though... I'm watching and waiting...

Here's something I thought about though.. Last month, the week of options expiration, we saw APM jump up to 12.5 or so. It was explained as some technical rebound to the lowest strike price. Are we going to see it again? It might be worth a nice 10% pop in a week..
