>And I don't see any mention of the Rev. Jesse Jackson in the newswires. Had he picketed the annual meeting after all?

There was a half page "advertizement" in the Washington Post today, slamming the WCOM/MCI merger. There were quotes from Jesse Jackson and a few others. It was paid for by the Rainbow Coalition. A lot of it referred to racial issues related supposedly to WCOM's hiring plans and their intentions toward potential low-income phone users. It sounded pretty ridiculous to me....I don't know where all this is coming from all of a sudden, or why the Rainbow Coalition is involved.
