thanks for the candor....remember, we never trade "name" nor "high-priced-emotionally-charged" issues....and also remove all emotion from the process....I also have been holding mostly cash, and performed less well in March, but am mulling a career change....many people are requesting I start a formal newsletter with my teachings, advice, etc.
they seem willing to pay much for my output....hence, no "long-side" thread, from me, yet...just giving them out all along, but in each thread, dig ? do you think I have a shot ? I would like to try it, nevertheless...so few others, are of value....and many people tell me I could really help many people...
anyway, at most firms, stocks under $ 5. not entirely marginable, but "may" be occasionally, partially so, depends on many factors...
I never have bt. any stock on margin when under $ 5., ever, FYI....
fewer depressed look "great" here, so holding much cash, and even dipping toe in some "puts" as suits me....check out my "Lessons: how to" thread soon ? will check SCMM, never heard of it, for you....remember, I teach never to "feel one has to trade" any time, dig ? I only do, what seems right, with stops, etc., there will always be opportunities, so I never "force trade"....hope this helps, enjoy,
