ORCL beat the estimates by 2 cents and it seems db market is still growing very nicely. IFMX should do well.

On a seperate note, I just came back from a college recruiting campaign. Everyone I interviewed to join our company had 2 companies in mind (besides ours of course so they said): Informix and Microsoft! And these were all very bright graduate students (MS and PHD levels with high GPAs - 3.7+). Apparetnly Informix (and especially its server group) are aggressively going after these bright graduate students. Now I dont know if it is to replace all the people who left the company or to hire for new projects, etc. In either case I was very pleased to hear that Informix is aggressively trying to hire these bright kids (eventhough it maybe at our cost!), But as a IFMX share holder I am very happy and feel much more comfortable now.

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi
