First, I would like to introduce myself to this board. I have been following this thread for several months now and have valued the opinions, analysis and insight offered here. I have also used this board, as well as the Yahoo! board as an interface to mac information on the www. And have learned a lot as well!

Now to my question to you, Alomex. I am interested in where exactly you see weakness this quarter, excepting the fact that this has historically been a slow quarter for AAPL?

The exception because it seems that so far this year (and the end of last year), AAPL is reversing many historical patterns. We have evidence in January that AAPL was ranked third in retail computer market share, and numerous reports from the field indicate that G3 sales are brisk. Of course, we will have to wait for hard numbers.

Eric and Phillip have made a compelling case for great earnings this quarter. FWIW, you can place me in their camp.

Still seeking AAPL's Achilles heel this quarter....

Go AAPL!

Kurt

Alomex:

Are you hedging? Be a man and give a definitive answer!!

Others have been rather precise in their estimations of earnings.
