I was saying that WDC is better in terms of design for volume production that allows much more variables in components and still obtain acceptable manufacturing results. I know the current IBM Rochester division is a very profitable division doing A400 manufacturing, etc.
But, the fact that IBM disposed Rochester's disk drive operation a couple years back did tell that they were not totally pleased with the operation.
Sorry, did not mean to hurt anyone's feeling. The fact that WD Rochester is doing well today tells that the people there are excellent.
