What's a plant cost now a days? How about two more one in India and one in South America.

Dear All:
I'm not happy about this new debt: how are the rest of you reacting?

<< Yeah Sig, Dell is going to go shopping. It's too much money for a plant, so I'm guessing it's a company.>>>
I will take the word of the company, in that MiKie is prepared(as always) for further expansion which usually consists of new
factories or sales offices built in a unique area with adjacent suppliers Like the new facility in China, rather than the purchase
of another company. There was a report that work is starting on the 570 acres in Austin. Dell has been pressured by bankers who would like to do business with Dell, so I suspect this is perhaps a
community service to clarify which banks he may work with when and if he does some major expansion work and decides to use low interest
loans if it is a more efficient use of funds than using company money
I assume in China and elsewhere that Dell officers use various banks for managing money and deposits,so perhaps the 500 mil would
form a backing and assurance for any company or bank in a foreign land that wants to do a big chunk of business with Dell.
