Paul,re:'number'. I have no idea. MSFT has so much money hiding
somewhere, they'll meet or beat the 'number' by digging into
some pocket somewhere. The coming release of win98, NT5.0. and cheap
cheap, cheap PCs keep coming, can't beat this kind of environment.

Stock may take a break between now and summer, unless you want short
trade, I think there is better time to buy (IMHO), but what do I know.

If you consider unearned revenue, MSFT PE is not that high at all. A strong case can be made that MSFT is even undervalued.
