Cheery Tom.....re. the poor schmuck and the sand-filled ash trays and the people who put the chocolate on your pillow and fold your toilet paper.....please remember, there is dignity in all honest work. Maybe you should just book Motel Six instead of the Hyatt next time around. As for wasted human capital, you should have seen the poor schmucks east of "the wall" when there still was a "wall.".....I tend to credit Reagan with the fact that conditions have improved a bit in the old "worker's paradise." Just my opinion.....I don't need you to believe it too. Tom, I sincerely enjoy your posts and varied insights.
