you would definitely be better off with a broker if you are trading on the otc. it is a person to person phone market so dealing with people directly is your best route. unfortunately if you are in the u.s. it is difficult to find a canadian broker whos' company will allow u.s. accounts. if this is the case you have that delay of calling your broker, who calls his trading desk, who then calls their company in canada that does their trading, who then calls the market maker...i guess you get my point. you are getting poor service either way.
