Kevin- It sounds like this box will connect to ISP's so does that mean it is over phone wires? So far seems a little half-baked. The GIC DCT5000 doesn't explicitly mention that it is bundled with DVD but it is a natural to do so. One then shares the digital decoding for the cable side with the DVD player. But apple's doesn't get the benefits of offering the DVD bundled with the cable digital decoding.

Dear Big Bull:

Thanks for the update but again that is a twisted pair solution if it is through the ISP. It would seem that the cable cos. would be spurred on by this threat to get a box that will do the same job for cable. They will come up with the capability or lose their franchise. I guess this has become a show me the earnings stock. Start ups and turnarounds seem to do better as earnings are not expected of them. It all depends on whether GICcan make a profit on these boxes.
