Greg & Spedman,

As a lurker on this one, yes, the speed of this rise makes me nervous, and I'm lightening up, but shorting it now, until the Asian effect hits the market as a whole, is for me premature. As my holding in this stock is in my IRA account, I am not concerned about tax ramifications. A happy problem for all at this point.

Mike

Greg

You are going to get killed if you short LU. there is
a tremendous momentum from MM to buy LU. LU is just
getting started. For the next 5 years, LU will be
there to sell for the RBOCS, fortune 500, CLECs, ILECS,
etc. Wall St is just getting warmed up to look at LU.

I tend to disagree that LU and the other switch makers won't start horning more into the traditional networkers turf, both WAN and LAN. I do expect LU to acquire a networker in the future. CSCO is trying to expand into the telephony side of things, so it isn't radical to thing that in the next few years the telephone switch is a 'do everything' platform that is highly scaleable and highly flexible, with it's legacy reliability still in tact..
