I will repeat:
I cannot fire a Black person because they are black.
I cannot fire a Jew because he is Jewish
* I can indeed fire a person because of their sexual preferences, if such preference offends my Religious morals.
* I can indeed fire a person because of their sexual preference for their own mother, their own son, their own daughter.

* See 1st Amendment, US Constitution, which reads in part, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free excercise thereof;.."

However, the courts have indeed placed limits on how far Religion Rights can go: Mormons lost their case when defending bigomy on the grounds of religious rights, because bigomy offended the sensibilities of this largely Christian Nation, Christian Natural Laws, etc.
