To All / Discreet Logic - MGI - Intel - Kodak

Can someone tie all four of these companies together for me.

This past week Intel & Kodak announced a major joint working agreement for the digital developement of cameras.

Kodak has provided their own software related to images in the past.

Since Intel is a major shareolder of MGI, does this mean MGI will be directly involved with Kodak. It would appear to me that if they are not somehow tied into this working agreement, a major conflict of interest would exist.

I'm not looking for opinion - but actual knowledge on the subject.

Here's a question I would like an opinion on. Is Discreet Logic now a drag on value of MGI shares? DL has really lost share value over the past weeks and the latest earnings report was a major street disappointment. Is this merger good for MGI shareholders and has shareholder approval for the deal been voted upon yet.

I really like MGI, a great little company with a widely accepted product. But it would appear to me that recent corp. events are taking further growth prospects of the company in the wrong direction.

What do you think?
