I attended the stock holder's meeting Wednesday and it was sickening to hear JJ publicly extort from Ebbers a promise for a future meeting to talk about "sharing" the wealth of WCOM. At no time did he, or the other union thugs who spoke, suggest anything they could do to help or assist WCOM achieve its goals. JJ kept talking about his upcoming meeting with the FCC and how unless WCOM "shares" the wealth, he would have to oppose the merger.
Then comes this article posted this morning confirming what I had witnessed. What do you do when our wonderful government is part of this extortion? Just goes to show the importance of an honest administration -- an oxymoron I know.
