Dell will never get a margin call
I liked all that cash Dell had, it seemed so "comfortable". And I am hoping there wont be a merger because on both the mergers when I held stock-usrx and cpq- the result was not pretty! Of course that is short term I dont know what Coms will be like long term and I'm still betting Compaq will be just fine.

I sold the nextel I had in that margin account (very slight profit) so now I'm only 1/3 into margin which I think is safe enough to relax.

If I didn't reduce my position on DELL last Oct., I would get a margin call.

Have they changed the rules as it pertains to margin ? It was deductible the last time I looked.
