That is one of the more profound articles I've read in a long while. One image comes to mind immediately. I believe it was at InterOp in Vegas a year ago when I talked to one of Pairgain's senior VPs and asked about their ADSL plans to which he replied he didn't think there would be a significant market for another eight to ten years.

I've been known to say the telcos were shooting themselves in the foot by stalling on DSL deployment in order to save their T1 business. That part's greed --- but even worse is their hubris.

If this projection proves to be correct, what are the companies that will benefit and would be a good investment? Is it ADSL companies or Internet Providers? Can you name a few of each. Thanks
