You are not trying to stay calm. You invited people who knew something about Christianity to post the Christain viewpoint on homosexuality, to "explore the issue". Next, what followed was an ongoing series of vicious insults against the Christian faith, a continued effort to discredit the Bible, a posted suggestion of an idea that Christ, the holy and worshipped diety of the Christian might have been a homosexual (which you found on a web-site -- yeah there's truth--on the internet), a suggestion by your partners in crime that I was a "bigot", a "Christian Nazi", a "Christian thug", and further, for posting requested scripture to show the Christian viewpoint, I was accused of "spewing my hatred". AND YOU, Christine, Said not one word against any of this, even though YOU invited the Christian views. Now YOU today suggest that there is "dissention in the Christian community...over whether Christ even ever existed as a man, or maybe was created later as a fiction for political purposes." Would you tell a Moslem that there is dissention in the Islamic community, if on a web-site you found that an Arab doubted if Mohammed ever existed? Do you feel that you have treated my religous views with respect? Now you say, "I am really unclear why you would consider homosexuals a threat in any way to your religious freedom." I have never said such a thing. Quite the opposite. I've said that the State doesn't have the right to ever try to force our minsters to preach a certain way, for or against anything. "Do you find it impossible to worship around them or something?" No. And I want to publicly say right now, that homosexuals are free to attend my church ANYTIME they want, and I will PERSONALLY GUARANTEE their physical safety at all times, if they are worried about entering one those horrible "Conservative Christian" Churches. If any homosexuals are out there, please e-mail me if you would like to try out my church. I will give you directions to MY church, and sit with you in the pew. Dwight
