Yes it is but I exaggerated the point on purpose. "axe murdering the family next door is a little more serious than anything we are pretty sure Clinton might have done, no?" With the famed 'Twinkie Defense' in mind as but one example, it is clear that anybody will use any defense given half a chance. So I see a simple apology without punishment leading to trouble (if he's guilty of whatever). Somebody is bound to say &#147Well Slick did (whatever), why can't I?&#148 Maybe my justice values are a tad harsh-but I'm stickin' to them. Whilst I have some very 'left' views of society and government, I also believe we don't kill enough criminals in this country. (And, no, I don't want to get into a capital punishment debate with any others who may be reading-I'm right and you're not. end.) Guess I really am a Centrist of sorts as per that earlier test. -MrB
