NASDAQ volume is double-counted. Insider sales pursuant to SEC rule 144 are limited each month to a percentage of "average daily volume". Founders and other holders with large positions can sell twice as much with a NASDAQ listing.

Off topic - any internet Gods out there? - web mystery unfolding. I am dialed into Megsinet carrier in Chicago and trying to access niu.edu I can get to any spot on the web except niu. Megsinet technical support can not figure out why i cant get to niu. Other people can get to NIU. The ping www.niu.edu test fails. The tracert test fails at all hops. NIU appears to be ok with the server. Other people with Megsinet in the suburbs CAN get to NIU with a different number. Why cant I??????

Mohan, the techs have been at home on the NASDAQ. I don't know why a stock moves or chooses not to move over. The NYSE is higher profile but I don't know why there would be an advantage to stay on the NASDAQ. Pat
