I use both, E-trade and Ameritrade for my online trading. Ameritrade takes few hours to 1 day to confirm my Market Order. I put same order at market price on both(E-trade and Ameritrade) accounts and Ameritrade always fills my order at higher price than E-trade. Also, I get lot more on E-trade(news, report, etc. etc.) If you compare both of them, E-trade is 1000% times better than Ameritrade. I have not used the rest of online services but It is clearly a market leader !!
