Your conclusions about Ameritrade seem to be reflected in the ratings.

One thing I wish EGRP would do is confirm cancellation of open orders immediately. If I cancel an open order at 4:05pm after market close I don't get confirmation until about 8:30 the next morning. I've often wondered if I could get filled in "after hours trading". If this was possible it would seem to me that the broker could create some opportunities for themselves (at my expense).

For instance, if I have an open order at 18; stock "closes" (4pm) at 20; I cancel open order at 4:10; 4:15pm company warns; in after hours trading it goes to 17. Did I get filled at 18? I don't know until 8:30am - makes it hard to sleep <G>. I'm not sure what the rules are here. I'm also interested in what happens if I issue the cancellation at 4:30.

That is true. Actually if PC Quote were to buy a small brokerage firm or vice versa that would be a formidable competitior but again it would take time but PC Quote has the subscribers and need to find a way to make money or get bought out. They have an excellent product but have never made any money.
