Sorry it's been a tough week. I was referring to the equity carve out not the note conversion, which I think is still on. Right now the only reason I'm hanging on is in the hope that the entire company will be purchased not just part of it. I think they are very vulnerable to that since the share value is so low. If, as I suspect earnings are abyssimal this company will be trading at not much over book value and if the industry has any respect at all for their technology it would almost be a no-brainer. In the software industry Computer Associates has built a multi-billion dollar corporation by buying up companies that have great technology but inept management, at bargain prices. Although I am qualified to comment on the strength of Accumed's technology I believe the quality of their management speaks for itself. I hope that more than one company is interested in buying the whole company. BTW I asked Dana who the investment banker they retained is and was told that is confidential and also that Accumed is not interested in selling the company. If the price goes much lower they may not have a choice.

In reading the Yahoo posts recently, I get the uneasy feeling that the market makers are posting to each other in order to drive up the stock...does anyone else get that feeling?
