Sam,

I see the same kind of arguments regarding brothers and sisters marrying eachother before the law as I see homosexuals using.

What is the difference? Each is a private moral decision, effecting noone else and taking place in the privacy of their own home. I have heard no argument on this thread convincing me otherwise, except that it is not accepted in our society. As you have so eloquently put, lots of things were not accepted in society in the past.

If we are to allow gay marriages, than it goes to reason, that we must accept marriages between brother and sister and mother and daughter as well. Do you believe we should?

I have never said homosexuality is repugnant. I think that is much too strong a word. I have simply said it is distasteful to me.

I also believe brothers and sisters marrying eachother is distasteful. As well as people that curse or spit in public. That say's nothing about my religios belief's. Which I have not brought up even once during this conversation. Why do you say that I have??

As far as 20/20 goes that was simply bigotry and is wrong. Teachers should not be forced to quit because they are gay. I didn't see the show but that's what I get from the gist of your post.

The same thing holds true for boy scout leaders. They should not be forced to pass a heterosexual litmis test in order to be accepted as a scout leader, or guide.
