Asndingguy,

I have seriously considered doing daily option plays -- Here is
the scoop. The Mar35 has gone from $2 to $1, or almost for
the last week. by 10 to 10:30AM ASND has hit its peak and then
drags down, and the price of the option with it. I am thinking
about selling options in the morning, for at least 2 and
putting in an order to sell at 1 1/4. grabbing a quick 3/4 on
a good number of options could be profitable, especially for
3 or 4 days in a row!!! but I always get a bit
nervous/cautious when people like Tim Luke start talking
about imminent buyouts.
Why gain 3/4, when a $10 move can
happen??? I'm quite torn and will consider this all weekend
before deciding on monday.

Glenn,

During peak times during the work days, 2Mbs is about all I get. I again to not know if the bottleneck is the server, the Sprint backbone or on the local loop.

If you consistently get 2Mb of throughput during the day to your local server then I'd wager that your "network segment" (the one you share with everyone else) is a significant performance bottleneck. There could be too much traffic or retransmissions due to errors (that only show up under higher load conditions). To be sure try the file transfer multiple times over different periods of the day so that you can reduce the possibility that it's a server problem. Be sure to write down the performance figures each time. A pattern should develop and you can then present the results to your ISP. They may or may not be able/willing to do anything about it.
