Since I really don't give a shit (about any ideological label), am I still a pagan by circumstance? I don't think it's fair that you should be labelled a "pagan" simply because your lifestyle is consonant with that which has been determined by Others to be typically "pagan". What do THEY know? And anyway, I think being pagan ought really to comprehend more than simply NOT doing things. And you must, after all, also do many of the things non-pagans do. You know, going to the supermarket, stuff like taht.

Bill- <I never see newspaper stories about hoodlums jumping out of car to beat a vegetarian. What appalling act of innocence is this? I can't believe you are ignoring the terrible and brutal pumpkin mutilations that go on every October 31. Thousands of small, helpless, defenseless jack o'lanterns are thrown, smashed, and run over. And where are their rights? Do you see legislature being passed to protect them? Protestors lining up in front of grocery stores? Have you done anything to stop this outrage?? So don't talk to me about hoodlums not beating up vegetables! What? You didn't say vegetables? Oh- vegetarians? oh never mind.
