Thanks for the great articles on just how challenging the Worldcom/MCI integration will be. Curious how nearly all the comments were from anonymous ex-Worldcom employees. Perhaps not fully objective, but still illuminating, none the less.

Thanks for the links. Some of Sidgemore's comments confirm my opinion that the MCI deal may be a bit too much, too soon. When WCOM upped the offer to $51 for MCI, I became a bit uncertain about the additional synergies that WCOM came up with in order to justify the higher offer. They have set forth a plan that will be difficult to execute due to the size and scope of the information system work that must be done. If the deal falls through, I will be one WCOM investor that will not be overly disappointed. Until the deal is officially struck, or struck down, I will patiently hold my WCOM shares.
