Go see.. This is how they build plants now.. For those in Seattle,, all the container cranes you see from I-5 in the port were manufactred by my former employer and sent to you also to Tacoma. Heavy lift vessels.. mammoet.com wijsmuller.nl wijsmuller.nl I did a project for ARCO ,,using Mammoet vessels.. from FOB OKPO , Daewoo yard to Anacortes, Wa,, the trasport cost alone was 3.8 million USD from Korea to Anacortes.. where modules each weighing 300 MT was loaded by 1,000 MT cranes.. at OKPO , then discharged on to Crawley barges,, off Anacortes..,, then old man Crawley took it up to Prudhoe, where he only had two weeks to off load it on to th shore.. Mamoet can even move Eiffel tower.. can pick it up ,,and put it on a modular platform carrier and drive it to the destination or on a ship or a barge... Kodaiak Is. Steel Bridge,,complete bridge in sections.. Misurata desalination plant Nigeria Petrochemical plant. Yanbu LNG plant.. Bouri Field jacket... 380 ft long and 180 ft at base in triangle shape ,,carried on a barge.. thats a par 4 hole. Chevron Long Beach jacket.. Kelloggs boiler plant from Ca. to China..
