marcos, You wrote...

"The best interests of the nation of Venezuela are served, imho, not by negating the legitimate claim to LC of Inversora Mael, nor by ejecting Placer from the country without compensation for its investment in a game whose rules it was following at the time of making that investment, but by limiting the damage caused by the history of the conflicting claims. So I do not see a decision coming that is 100% in favor of one side or the other."

I would agree with that except if there is strong evidence before the court that Placer knowingly was conspiring with MEM and CVG to circumvent lawful disposition of LC.

Hello marcos:

You say you have some experience in latin american courts. Therefore you should know once a title is given it can not be taken away. The law suit will be with KRY and MEM. The Ministry will have to pay damages if Mael wins. Placer has nothing to do with the law suit. KRY is suing for the right to be heard nothing more. Placer has the right to the concessions.

Just back from an extensive trip, it seems I miss a lot on this thread. One thing about this company (KRY) is that it has too many lawyers following it. This scares me. For the past 2 hours I looked at the previous replies and there is not one response on the geology. This is sad. To many people talk about $25 a share, how can this be. No one has explained why the stock is valued at $25. What a joke. Who will the management sue next?
