I think that you are wrong about MARGIN rates at ETRADE. LAST STATEMENT ETRADE= 9 1/4 PACIFIC BROKERAGES (DREYFUS)= 7 3/4 DATEK= 7 In addition DATEK has speed of execution and unlimited real time quotes. Pacific options are 15 compared to ETRADE 30. I do my stock trading at DATEK and my OPTION trades at PACIFIC. Last week I had a trade filled at DATEK and an identical trade PLACED AT ETRADE BEFORE DATEK NOT FILLED. The above is why I have only 15% of my pholio with ETRADE and will move my wife and my IRA accounts away from ETRADE. Best of luck to you that stay with ETRADE.
