When making denials, I've always noticed the president chooses pronouns. For example, "I did not have an improper relationship with HER (rather than naming the person he is referring to). He sometimes uses the person's name in the previous sentence, but there's no assurance inthe denial sentence that the chose pronoun relates to the person named in the previous sentence.

(emphasis mine)

You begin the third sentence above with a "He". I just want to make sure if you were referring to the President, or His Excellency Jabba the Hutt in this instance! :-) :-) ;-)

Dipy.

Today, Brinker lamented the extent to which the the office of the
President had been debased and demeaned under the current
regime given the pending allegations, but thought Republicans
ill advised to impeach our so-called Commander-in-Chief since
material advantage would then accrue to a then incumbent Pres-
ident Gore in an A.D. 2000 election. My own view, that a change
of horses in midstream at this juncture would unsettle markets
markedly, is certainly not a unique opinion.

Parenthetically, I applaud those members of this thread who
are standing shoulder to shoulder in the concerted effort to rid
ourselves of writers here who have demonstrated an obvious
pattern of bad faith, disinterest in the topic at hand, and egregious
lack of decorum on this thread. At present, the matter is being
taken up with the appropriate Silicon Investor authorities who
are known for decisive action and intolerance for overt trouble-
makers. In the interim, I urge all ladies and gentlemen of good
faith to continue to stand in unison in maintaining the integrity
of this thread and adherence to its expressed charter.

Pete, perhaps our President is not very good...

with remembering names but only faces.

It's probably a standard line for him now. <g>

Joe B. thank you for your summary. I missed the show today

but will be receiving a mini walkman in a few weeks to carry

with me in the future.

Cents

A congenital liar does not know the difference between
the truth and the lies. The voters should have picked up
on this guy when he said he did not inhale. The sad thing
is he could have been a decent President. Unfortunately,
this is what we all get when the country elects an
Arkansas Bubbadude to the highest office in the land.
Kathleen Willey is as credible an individual as you will
ever see. She is Bill's worst nightmare come true. An
honest woman who finally decided that she was not going to
take it anymore. Only God knows how many Kathleen Willey's
have refused to come forward for a myriad of personal reasons.
Obviously if you come forward they try to destroy you.
