re DELL options

BEKlein,

thank you for an informative post. Several items of which I was previously unaware...

1) "... the 25,000 position limit for regular options..." I'm guessing we're talking 25,000 contracts?

2) "... Dell could also negotiate a deal with the derivatives division of NationsBank or an investment bank, or another entity that makes these types of transactions. ..." How does one find out who DOES make these transactions. Anyone buying DELL puts or selling DELL call leaps would be an excellent short candidate in my book. <vbg>

3) "...unless Dell deems it 8-K material...." What are the primary reasons why a company would elect to file 8-K vice 10-Q?

thanks for the post and your assistance.

DELLish, 3.
