I've been looking over the LOR options over the weekend and have come to the conclusion that the days of 3X and greater expectations are over. But there is plenty of room for 2X appreciation for trading the options. Buying for exercising later is no longer a sure bet compared to margin. I'm thankful for what I've got. I bet the 2001s will be sky high.

Regards, Geoff and other options freaks,
ccr

Does Open Interest give an indicator of how much of a market there is?

I'm new to options, but is it difficult to get your purchases marketed? It would seem to me that it would be difficult because not as many people will want to be selling calls (especially with the current bullish sentiment on LOR)... so are you better buying the LEAP that has the largest open interest, figuring that if the price rises high enough, people will sell their contracts...but you will get your order executed?

In other words, if you buy one of the contracts with little open interest, will you be waiting days and weeks to get your order filled?
