What about options expiry this Friday. Isn't there usually a down push for MMs so they match lower strike prices. They do not like to pay out top dollar on any stock. AAPL did this dance last month where it cruised down several points before and on Friday, whereby the stock shot up in a major way afterwards.

Only thing is whether SEEK will pop up after Friday, being number 4 in a 4 horse race doesn't often pay much dividends.

Also, I was thinking (I know I shouldn't, but this thread inspires me so) on why SEEK would be a buyout candidate anyway. Wouldn't Time-Warner, or whoever, prefer to buy the leader in the field rather than a fix-it-up. SEEK is nice, but in business there is a serious importance placed on industry leaders. And if you are going to buy in, and cash is NOT a big factor for a prospective major buyer, why not purchase number #1 or #2?
