Concerning online brokers: Datek is my online broker of choice, and I have had many good experiences with them. Can't remember any bad ones that I didn't cause by trading too soon or too late or not at all. LG: I haven't tried Suretrade, but from what you say, forget them. Go to Brown & Co or Waterhouse. I have tried Ameritrade and WebStreet and both have many problems with basic functions, despite their claims. Brown & Co and Waterhouse each have different advantages, but they do what you need. I can guarantee this, since I'm a tough critic, demanding, and things that can go wrong always go wrong for me. I've used both for a few years. If you need to know the finer points of which is better with what, ask me in private mail or email, so we don't annoy the thread. Linda
