Shashyazhi, on Feb 21 you stated "Ron Holland told me that BAT would receive two Ford engines for modification and testing. This statement was made on Feb. 10 at the California Speedway. Also, Jim Heffel of UC Riverside has confirmed this statement."

Now that Baat has received a Ford Contour via Ernest Borgnine and Galpin Ford, does this supercede the above? Are the Ford engines mentioned above in addition to the Ford Contour for testing? Have plans changed in light of the "attention" Baat has received in recent weeks? Ron does not state where the engines were coming from, but I know many drew the conclusion (perhaps in error)that they were coming from Ford. Also, Ron and Jim confirmed 2 engines for testing. The recent news release indicates that one Ford Contour was received by Baat.

Ravi Ratnam stated in a previous post that Mr. Heffel was going to certify the Ford Contour testing. It is my understanding that Mr. Heffel was at the test track last month at the request of Ford's chief engineer. It is also my understanding that Mr. Heffel's involvement with the upcoming Ford Contour test is for the same reason. If this is inaccurate or outright false, would you or anyone else "in the know" be so kind as to sort these matters out for us mere mortals? Your response is greatly appreciated.
