Yeah, it was calculated alright, she had a simple story to tell, she didn't commit any crime, and we mustn't forget she's had the benefit of watching the rest of the principals' attorney's in action. She went to the Grand Jury, told her story, then went to a respected news outlet to tell the story again. Pretty straightforward, huh.

<rolling eyes> Hey, if your family was about to be credited with having helped bring down a presidency you'd have a breakdown too! That's the ironic aspect of the truth. It does far more damage than a lie.
