<<<My original point, however, was merely that at the time Willey might have been willing, and even eager, to turn to another man for comfort.>>>

Further substantiating the label of "sexual predator" that has been slapped on the President.

---Huh? Let's say, for the sake of argument, that she responded to his advances, or even provoked them. In what way, exactly, would that make him a "sexual predator"? Comfort takes many forms.--->>>>

Oh now I get it. Now that the cat is out of the bag, so to speak, we all should make speculations that contradict the very story that has been extracted from Ms. Willey. Sorry I don't buy it. But I am sure that you are sincere and correct in your theory that a blow job is seen as "comfort" in Little Rock.

<<Quite often men who feel they've been badly treated by their wives ("she doesn't understand me") take a mistress. Why do you imagine that women are any different? And it's easy to see that Willey might have been very very angry. God knows I would have been. Her husband even INVOLVED her in his peculations.>>>

First of all Ms. Shell, when a man or woman uses the old "she doesn't understand me" excuse it's just that--an excuse. What she probably doesn't understand is why her husband has to screw other women. However, even if yet another one of your wild speculations were at all true that does little to excuse the President for accepting the overtures and yes, Ms. Shell, I would be more than able to extracate myself from Ms. Willey's supposed overtures myself. Your type of insinuations are sickening because for years now we have been told by various women's groups that women do not lie about things like this and that there is no excuse for ANY man to behave as the President seems to have behaved. However, should the President support many of the liberally backed legislation that you believe in then all this can be easily pushed aside. Regardless of what you say this is the agenda of the majority of people who take such stands. As a result, the "women's movement" can hereby consider itself trashed beyond repair.

What is it with you? Is there no limit to the blame you will put on everyone BUT Clinton? Jeez! Anita Hill accuses Thomas of using some foul language and the man is crucified on camera, a regular national blood letting. How many women have to accuse Clinton before he becomes suspect? I sometimes wonder if he was caught on the bare ass naked "doing it" on the White House lawn at high noon that it would be a case of unfair temptation.
Is it Clinton's support for certain political issues that enamor you? If so, stick around awhile. The one thing he has been a master at is reading the polls. He knows how to play them like a violin. If he thinks a position will gain him a little political clout, he will backflip to take it regardless of his previous position on the issue.
Believe it or not there are men out there who have not cheated on their wives or girlfriends, nor have there even been rumors that they have AND they support "women's" issues. This guy is not worthy of the attention he gets from women, good or bad.
