Good Morning, a very good morning! I have been in and out of IDTI twice in the last week and I'm really glad I got back in late last week. Big news re making chips for IBM. Big gap at the opening coming. Unfortunately I have to be out for awhile this morning...so the big question is where to set the limit sell. I want to take my profit this morning and then buy back later this afternoon, but where oh where to set the limit sell? Any suggestions? Anyone?
John

IDT Signs Foundry Agreement With IBM to Increase Capacity for
IDT WinChip Microprocessors

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 1998--Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT) announced today it has signed a foundry agreement with IBM using their 0.25-micron, 2.5-volt IBM Blue
Logic(TM) technology to manufacture IDT WinChip(TM) C6+(TM) microprocessors.

The three-year agreement, which also includes the production of future generations of the IDT WinChip microprocessor, allows IDT access to IBM's leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology and provides
IDT with the additional capacity needed to meet demand in the fast-growing, low-cost PC market.

''Manufacturing WinChip microprocessors in both IDT's and IBM's 8-inch wafer fabrication plants gives our customers confidence that IDT will have adequate supply to meet their requirements,'' said Len Perham, IDT's president and chief executive officer.

''This agreement provides us with the necessary capacity and flexibility to meet the volume requirements for all of
IDT's various product lines,'' stated Mike Hunter, vice president of worldwide manufacturing at IDT. ''Additionally, we can be in production simultaneously on various WinChip products aimed at different target markets.''

IBM will use its state-of-the-art 0.25-micron CMOS process technology to manufacture the IDT WinChip processors at its eight-inch wafer fabrication facility in Burlington, Vt.

''We look forward to participating in the production of IDT's innovative WinChip processors,'' said Ken Torino, director of semiconductor contract manufacturing at IBM. ''Our advanced manufacturing capabilities are a strong match with IDT's requirements for a high-quality, cost-effective source.''

The IDT WinChip C6+ processor has been designed with a highly silicon-efficient architecture to reduce die size and lower power consumption, making it an ideal solution for the sub-$1,000 PC desktop and sub-$2,000 mobile PC market segments.

''Our manufacturing strategy has played a big role in allowing us to deliver processors with the best performance per watt and per dollar,'' said Glenn Henry, IDT senior vice president and president of Centaur Technology. ''And now, by matching our production roadmap with IBM's manufacturing expertise, IDT expects to increase significantly the performance and features of future WinChip processors, without compromising our size, power or cost advantages.''

Wafer production for current and future IDT WinChip processors will also be handled by IDT's manufacturing facilities in Hillsboro, Ore. and San Jose, Calif. Both locations are in production at 0.30-micron and are presently moving to 0.25-micron. More information on the IDT WinChip can be found at winchip.com.

Hi Andrew, could you please update your feeling and predictions on IOM, and CYMI. My cost on IOM is about $9 and for CYMI $22. I bought these when you recommended about a month ago. Do you think it's a good time to average down on IOM or is it too risky. thanks in advance for your input.

Good luck to all.
